Subscribers to YouTube TV and DirecTV stream filed a lawsuit against Disney for violating antitrust laws and consumer-protection laws by engaging in schemes to raise the prices of Streaming Live Pay Television (“SLPTV”). Disney has agreed to settle the lawsuit and payout to subscribers.
Who Is Eligible?
The YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream settlements include anyone who purchased a subscription from April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2026.
How Much?
Disney will pay $50M. 90% of the Net Settlement Fund will be allocated for payments to Settlement Class Members who resided in a Repealer Jurisdiction at any time during the class period. 10% of the Net Settlement Fund will be allocated for payments to the remaining Settlement Class Members located in the Non-Repealer Jurisdictions.
If you are a member of the Settlement Classes, you can submit a claim form to receive a pro rata cash payment proportional to the length of your YouTube TV and/or DirecTV Stream subscription.

Our Verdict
No word on how much payment will be, will depend how many people file, but it can never hurt to throw in a claim if you’re eligible. Seems like you would have received a unique claim ID, if you are eligible.
