This deal expires 4/14. It’s targeted to some Bank of America cardholders.
The Fine Print

Our Verdict
The Proactiv deal has been around in the past; it was always mediocre, but now combined with the Bank Amerideals it’s much better. Of course, it’ll only work if you were targeted with the Bank Amerideal (from BofA or any other provider who uses the same system) and you’ve never done the Proactiv deal with Swagbucks before.
Swagbucks are worth at least one cent per point. If all works out, you’ll net $24 on this deal, plus some skin products. It’s especially worthwhile for someone who is interested in the actual service offered. Remember to set yourself a reminder to evaluate if you should cancel the subscription before the next charge.
Beware: with other Swagbucks deals, a people have had problems either with the portal tracking or with Swagbucks deactivating their account for reasons which aren’t clear, so keep the risks in mind.
If you are signing up for a new Swagbucks account, I’d appreciate if you use my Swagbucks referral link. You’ll also get a $3 + 2 bonus at the end of the month if you earn 300 SB.

Hat tip to Slickdeals
Is anyone still getting the run-around from Swagbucks? They keep telling me they “are working it out with the merchant” and won’t post my swagbucks. Pretty frustrating deal. I ordered on 4/11/17 and haven’t received it yet.
Also, instead of Bank Amerideals, I did this with the same offer but through my Regions bank account. Haven’t received that credit yet either and Regions tells me it may take up to 60 days. Seems like this will be a hassle all the way around.
I was able to sell this for a $21 (after eBay/Paypal fees) so I’m only out ~$5 right now, if the Swagbucks & Regions end up working out I’ll be up $45 net. But still not sure it is worth all this.
Getting the run around for sure. Same thing with the game fly offer. I went through Trial Pay for the game fly offer to complain yesterday and it was credited today so I don’t think Swagbucks did anything at all.
The issue with the proactive offer is it is not offered any longer so you can not file a claim through trial pay on their website so I am not really getting anywhere with this one. I have learned my lesson though – if it is not tracking in 24 hours file report with the merchant right away while the offer is still available. Luckily for me the GameFly one came back live after a few weeks so I could file the complaint.
Thanks for the tip.
Luckily the Gamefly posted immediately for me.
Finally got mine late last week – any luck?
Yep, got mine too. Unfortunately I waited till the last day before my second shipment was set to be shipped and it ended up billing the day before it shipped. So now I’ve got to “return to sender” and Proactive told me they’ll refund it. But it will all work out. Now I’m still waiting on Regions Bank
That blows – I had bumped back my order to 20 weeks to give myself some time for this to get figured out.
DP: The swagbucks posted with no intervention on my part, but I have had to call Bank of America twice. The first time (15 minute phone call) they said everything looked good but I was skeptical and nothing changed after several days so I called back a second time (32 minute phone call). I got passed around to four separate departments until the last person created a case so more research can be done. I am pretty sure I will get the $20, but man that was painful for something that is supposed to be automatic. On a positive note I was able to sell the Proactiv on Facebook for $20. Good luck everyone!
Thanks for the DP – how long did it take from the sign up for the SB’s to post?
Charge to my CC posted on 4/6; swagbucks posted 4/10.
Thanks
Apparently, this deal is causing problems with BOA and Swagbucks. I have been in contact with both companies and they say it is on Proactiv’s end.
Awesome – just signed up for it a few days ago after the Gamefly deal has been having issues on their “partners” end….
Seems like bush league here….I am done once I fight for my payment on these two things.
how soon can you cancel, is right after you receive the products and assuming the points from SB post?
I’d think so
Hmm so this is strange. For the first time the points didn’t immediately post after ordering. Is that normal for this since it’s an actual product that needs to be shipped rather than a service (Hulu, Gamefly)?
When do points usually post? I too got TPC*PROACTIV on my BofA card. Damn hope the bankamerideal goes thru auto. Otherwise it’ll be a pain to manually get both SB & BofA to credit the deal.
What has other folks experience been on this?
I can’t remember how long it took for points to post when I did this deal some months ago.
How easy has it been to cancel the subscription?
I did it once, but I can’t remember the details. Maybe I had to call in, come to think of it.
I actually don’t have the Americard deal, but would’ve done it for the minor MM, but probably if it was just an easy online cancellation.
In the checkout description it says call to cancel.
“Approximately 3-4 weeks after your first order is shipped, and then approximately every 12 weeks thereafter, you will be sent a new 90 day supply of Proactiv®. Each shipment will be charged to the card you provide today, in three installments, approximately every 4 weeks at the guaranteed low price of $19.95 plus $2.99 for shipping and handling per installment, unless you call to cancel.”
My transaction posted as ‘TPC*PROACTIV’, and the BankAmerideal didn’t automatically track it. I called and they recognized the name mismatch and submitted a ticket to get the $20 credit. Proactiv also didn’t track through Swagbucks after 15 days, but their support helped me pretty quickly and I got an instant credit. I still think the deal is worth doing, but note that you may have to deal with Bank of America and Swagbucks support for a few minutes each.
Interesting (but probably useless) note: The Bank of America representative mumbled ‘minimum spend amount 20 cents’ as she was reading the deal information, indicating there is a level of minimum $ spent for these deals that say they just require any purchase.
How did you contact swagbucks – call or online? I have been having issues with something tracking and needed to contact them.

Thanks!
I sold my proactiv stuff on ebay for a nice amount ($40? I don’t quite remember) when I did this deal! Wish I could have combined it with my this offer!
Nice! I think I threw most of mine out.
Bummer!
Went back and checked. Sold for about $20 last year (memory went all fish story on me with this one!) it went within 5 mins of listing it and I regretted not trying for more.
how were you able to cancel the subscription? any tips on that. I just googled proactive & been reading a lotta warning/scam stories out there abt deceptive proactiv CSRs.
I don’t remember, but if something shady or scam like had happened I would have remembered for sure.
Anyone also not seeing a ticket for Proactiv in their “My Shop & Earn”? I know it says 14 days to clear, but I thought it would at least recognize that I clicked on Proactiv.
yeah I have the same issue. how did you get it resolved? or are you gonna wait the 14 days & then contact SB to hopefully get the instant credits?
Same proactiv deal is in my PNC account. $20 with any purchase
Thanks for that, also found it with PNC
do you guys have an cc with them or just bank account? I didn’t have any offers available to me – i just have a bank account.
Just a bank account but I’ve had it for several years and use it as my primary account
Been wondering about this. At least now there’s confirmation that it works.
