10 Credit Card Bonuses You May Have Missed

I try to post pretty much every credit card sign up bonus I can find, which is great but sometimes offers get a bit lost in the noise. I thought it would be a good idea to highlight some bonuses that you might not have seen on other blogs for whatever reason.

  1. Southwest 60,000 business card bonus. If you’ve ever wanted the Southwest companion pass, now is the easier time to do so. You have to call in for this offer, but literally anybody can get it. Just pair this with a 50,000 point bonus on the personal cards and all of a sudden you have 110,000 Southwest points (earning you a companion pass). It’s almost too easy and keep in mind the companion pass will be valid until the end of 2016 – so you’ve still got plenty of time to use it.
  2. Citi Prestige 60,000 point bonus + $350 annual fee. This offer comes with an extra 10,000 point bonus and an annual fee that is $100 lower than the public sign up bonus. Yes the spending requirement is higher, but it’s still a better option for a lot of people. If you don’t want to go in branch, that’s OK it’s possible to apply anyway.
  3. U.S Bank Cash+ $100 Bonus. This card was only recently made available via online sign ups and offers 5% cash back in categories you choose. U.S Bank have removed a number of benefits (including restaurants as a category and the $25 bonus per $100 cash back redeemed is now once per lifetime) but I still think this card is worth signing up for if you spend a lot in any of the categories you can choose.
  4. American Express Personal Premier Gold 50,000 point offer. This bonus got a little bit of attention on other blogs, but not as much as it deserves. It’s a real shame American Express personal bonuses are only once per lifetime now.
  5. American Express business platinum 100,000 point offer. It’s still possible to get this amazing bonus simply by calling in, you won’t have a 100% success rate but it’s still very much worth trying.
  6. American Express Business Gold 75,000 point offer. There are two ways to get this offer:
  7. Chase Hyatt Two Free Nights + $50. The standard bonus of two free nights barely rates a mention on a lot of sites, let alone this better deal of two free nights and $50.
  8. SPG 30,000 Point Offer. This is one of the best sign up bonuses that comes around regularly, you might be able to get it to show up for yourself right now by creating a dummy booking.
  9. Chase IHG 80,000 Points + $50 Offer. This is another one that requires you to make a dummy booking, but a lot of people have been able to get it to work. You might also be able to get matched to this offer if you’ve already signed up as well.
  10. TD First Class $250 cash bonus. This one isn’t available in all states, but it’s still quite a juicy cash sign up bonus.

You’ll notice one common thing about the majority of these offers – they require very small amount of work to get (e.g calling in, using icognito mode, etc) and don’t have direct links. Do you think I missed any bonuses that are worth a second look? If so, let me know in the comments below.
