I wasn’t able to find any early account termination fee in their fee schedule.

Now that we know it’s a soft pull, I will be adding this to our list of the best checking account bonuses.

Applied OOS using the Friends of the Foundation method – received an email the next day asking for proof of donation – sent a screenshot of the donation receipt. Approved the following day. Did not see any CC funding option.
There is no CCfunding option anymore.
it doesnt look like you are able to join using a Donation page..am i missing something?
check this DP
Ty Mega, that worked! got an email asking to send social, proof of address, id and friends of foundation donation
Unable to ProceedAdditional review of your application is required. Please allow approximately two business days for our team to review your application for membership. You’ll receive an email from us with next steps upon completion. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact one of our Member Care Agents at 800-544-3328.
Got the same for myself when applied last night. Got an email early morning to provide documents and account got approved just now.
Quick turnaround!
Same here 🙂
You were willing to fax all the documents? How did you submit?
I just emailed back. They are not the first one who asked for SS card. Many institutions do. Citi did for wealth mgmt account.
Maybe I did email Citi my Ss card! lol
interestingly, they did not ask my P2 for SS card and approved with the eligibility of association to a delta community member (P1).
Eligible organization? Do we know what organization, or is it something we can join? (OOS)
Search box? Do we know if there is a search box? Is it something we can search, or does it just say “Comment search…”?
Good idea, thanks
Did you get targeted for this?
Nope
Kind of confused here. They seem to have added some sort of a “Targeted” language in the terms in the past few weeks but no DP seems to mention it. Is it not enforced?
I’m only speculating, but I doubt it. How would they?
People had this targeted language even last year but everyone could churn the bonus. So, shouldn’t be any different this time unless they have tightened their screws
Received notification from Experian idworks that my account was opened , but so far have received nothing from Delta CCU. I guess emails from them should be forthcoming 😅
Update: they want me to mail or fax them a bunch of documents. I don’t feel comfortable transmitting some of the information that they want that way. 🤦🏼♂️ The only other option they provided is to take into a branch.
How did you make donation to “Friend of foundation”? is it when you select “No” for any association in the application form or before that itself?
The link of how to join/donate is on this page. search the comments…
I searched and there is one with LSCU. Not sure if that’s the correct one to use.
It is.
thanks
Anyone tried doing with promo code BONUS_300_98 which only required a simple deposit of $500 instead of BONUS_300_97 which requires $1500 DD?
It’s opposite.
https://www.deltacommunitycu.com/home/july300b.html
#BONUS_300_97 requires simple deposit of $500 only.
#BONUS_300_98 requires 1500 DD.
No. The 300_97 that it sticks on your application from that link is for the $1500. I’m not messing with it. I’ll do a $1500 DD.
Isn’t it a deposit and not direct deposit? Or am I reading it wrong?
There are 2 versions with 2 different promo codes. Looks like many are going with the version which has DD requirement.
Verified with the CSR from the Account application/verification department on call that code 98 works well and doesn’t require DD.
ruh oh…i think they might be on to us 🙂
Delta Community Credit Union reserves the right in our sole discretion to prohibit a bonus payment to non-eligible individuals for any offers claimed via third party websites and promotional materials with no affiliation or prior authorization from the Credit Union.
That language isn’t new. It was present last September when I applied, and the bonus paid out.
Thanks for the useful information.
I’m not sure, sorry. I qualified as a former employee of one of their SEGs.
ok thanks
These links all say offer not intended for the public, non transferrable. Did the other offers have this language?
Recent DP for the $250 SEG250_85 bonus offer:
6/6/25 Account opened after joining friends of foundation and providing payment receipt
6/26/25 $1,001 Fidelity CMA push + 10 misc. utility debits
7/11/25 $250 Deposit / SEG250_85
There is also a $50 referral bonus that you can stack with this offer.
For some reason you can only click on my name in replies only and not the original post.
Where is the referral ?
For some reason avatar linked urls are not working. I can email it to you if you want.
FYI this is exactly why website links were disabled. Will doesn’t want us directing people to our websites in the comments.
I don’t think you can stack the referral. See #1838969
Thanks for the clarification. Looks like the referral generates a separate promo code and you can only use one per application.
