When do the referral points post? For the companion pass, I’d want them to post in January, but have to refer someone by the December deadline for the improved SUB. Would the points post in January?

When I go to the page to generate my referral link, it says ‘Refer by 1/4/2022.’ But the DOC post says the 100K offer expires 12/7/2021. Do you think this means the 100k bonus will last almost an extra month through referral links?

Unfortunately I have a hard time getting any referrals unless the referral offer has something extra that isn’t in the public offer. You don’t know how many times I have told people about the perks of the companion pass and how easy it is to get. I would offer them a referral and they would say, “I’ll think about it.” Then a couple months later they want to know the specific details on the timing of the bonuses and all that because they have already got the card through a public link even though it didn’t offer anything extra. I couldn’t believe they still expected me to help them. Needless to say, I didn’t give them any helpful information.

No these people are quite capable of filling out an online application. And they were not ignorant to the fact that I would get a bonus. They had no problem doing it though the public link. They just didn’t care because there was nothing additional in it for them. But for some reason they didn’t think I would have a problem giving them additional information to help them.
