Mines is spend 3000 get 1500, normally would ignore that but I just got a rentention offer (spend 3000 get 40000) that will work in conjunction. Just makes it a little bit more sweeter for me 😀

on one of the more popular hot deal sites, people were reporting offers of “spend $1000, get a $1000 statement credit”…and some seemed to be taking an obvious typo seriously. lol
as always for me personally, I get the standard “spend $1000, pay back $1000” offer!

its definitely a mistake. I don’t see amex honoring it.
I’m guessing it’s a mistake where someone entered the MR points value in the dollar field, yeah.
As a follow up, Amex ended honoring my offer and I did it three times.
