Swagbucks: Signup for Acorns and get $12

The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • Signup for an Acorns investment account through Swagbucks and get 700 SB (worth $7).
  • You’ll also get $5 from Acorns when you link your bank.

The Fine Print

  • SB will appear as Pending for 32 days.
  • Must enter valid sign-up information, including credit card information to earn SB.
  • You will receive $5 in your acorns account after sign up, and you link your bank to Acorns.
  • Offer may only be redeemed once (1) per user.
  • If you are not credited within 32 days of offer completion, you have 14 days to contact the Swagbucks Help Center for further investigation. Help Center tickets submitted after the 14 day grace period are not eligible for further investigation and SB.

Our Verdict

You’ll end up with $12 here ($5 + $7) which is the best signup bonus I can recall for Acorns. The typical is to just get $5 when signing up with a referral link.

If you don’t use Swagbucks, my appreciation if you signup for Acorns with my referral link. You’ll get a $5 bonus for signing up. (They are also running a special $1,100 offer for referrers.)

I’ve signed up and linked my bank account (even deposit $5 into Acorns), but still didn’t see the $5 added to my Acorns account?

This is the experience I had with Acorns several months ago. I never got my sign-up bonus when I was referred. To be fair, it was not thru Swagbucks, but someones personal link. When I complained, they said something to the affect that I didn’t sign up via a referral link or code wasn’t attached. When I gave them referral info and link I used, they said SEC regulations forbid them from paying the bonus after the fact. So they like to hide behind boilerplate that has nothing to do with referral programs. For small bonuses like this, I typically do not do screenshots, so I was at a dead end. Closed my account that day. Pisses me off they still show me as a customer and have a valid login – with just the account marked as closed. That is the one bad thing about dealing with places like this – they never really forget you and have your info is on file.

Granted, maybe this was just one individual bad experience, and others do not go through what I did.

So did you ever get your $5?

I guess when you try enough offers eventually it happens. Good for you though. Sounds like they have a good referral bonus going on now, if you get 12. Good luck!
