Update 11/29/21: The promo codes are now coming through fine, as expected. They expire on January 16, 2022.
Update 11/28/21 from Chuck: I see in the fine print “Promo Credit is valid through and expires on November 5, 2021, 11:59 PM (PT)” which has already past. If you go through the checkout process, it clearly shows the promotion as being applied; I assume the promo credit expiration date is a error of update failure.

- Amazon is offering a $15 Amazon code when you purchase a $100 Apple gift card. Use promo code APPLENOV.
Our Verdict
Deal goes live 11/28 9am ET. We’ve seen a similar deal from Amazon in the past but that was for a $10 code. This will sell out quickly.
This is dead
Just received my code and it says it’s only valid until 1/16. That’s six weeks! Seems too short.
Has anybody tried to do this deal a second time (with the same Amazon account)? I was able to add the APPLENOV code to a second order, but I haven’t submitted that second order yet. I know it says one per customer, but I thought I would ask anyway (you never know — occasionally these “one per” end up actually being multi-use).
And it seems like the offer is now done. If you could do it twice, it is (seemingly) too late for me to try. Ah well. There will be other deals (probably an APPLEDEC promo code in a few weeks).
I am having trouble using this today. Anyone else?
Something else to be aware of – If you purchase a product using a promotional credit like this and later return it, you will lose the credit.
The Amazon code issued is not valid. Amazon refer back to seller. This is just a scam.
I purchased an indoor dog fence via Amazon Warehouse, received 20% discount and was able to apply the $15 credit. Solid deal.
Do you know if the codes can be used on a different Amazon account?
Yes, from my DP last time
I just received the $15 credit, too. One important gotcha: only valid on items SOLD by Amazon (the majority of things sold online at Amazon.com are not technically “sold by Amazon” — they’re “sold” by 3rd parties through Amazon.
I’ll probably use it eventually — I buy a lot of crap through amazon, but almost none of it is actually “sold by Amazon”. This is not just easy free money you can use on anything at Amazon.
This has been true for every single Amazon credit ever. Are you new here?
Must be
And what makes it more annoying is there is no way to search for items that are SOLD by Amazon.
If you search for something **and then narrow the results down by category** you’ll get a list of sellers you can filter by.
You can browse through sold by Amazon products by typing in the search bar “sold by Amazon”. Although, narrowing it down further is limited.
FYI, you can use it on gift cards 😉
Can this be used to buy Amazon gift card?
Can not be used on Apple gift cards (even though the Apple gift cards are sold by “ACI Gift Cards Inc., an Amazon company.” Just tried, not valid.
Try gift cards other than Amazon, Apple etc. Lat time it works for many restaurants by Blackhawks
Awesome! I just used it to buy an Airbnb gift card, and it worked.
Just now (literally seconds ago) received my promotional credit (notification email). I haven’t used it yet.
-Edit- And now I used the promo credit. Took $15 off my $19.99 order. No problems at all.
Until what date is the promo credit valid?
My email says: “The promotion code must be used by January 16, 2022. This offer is subject to Terms and Conditions.”
The terms and conditions URL still gives the incorrect dates mentioned earlier, but my email gives the January 16, 2020 date.
And I just now used the promo code on an order. $15 off my $19.99 order. No problems at all. Well, one small problem. It wasn’t automatically applied to my order (even though the email said it would). My email contained a 16-digit code which I entered in to complete my order. Other than that, there were no problems.
And now I’m giving the incorrect date as well, lol. Let me fix that:
*The terms and conditions URL still gives the incorrect dates mentioned earlier, but my email gives the January 16, 2022 date.
(I typed “2020” when I meant to type “2022”.)
What did you use it on? I tried an Uber gift card which is sold by Amazon–didn’t work. Tried a package of Cascade detergent which is sold by Amazon.com and the credit doesn’t appear on checkout either.
I used it on the Apple iPhone 12 Mini case (to go along with my new phone which I bought during Black Friday). Shipped and sold by Amazon. I didn’t attempt to buy a gift card with it (and it’s too late for me to try now).
Did you manually try to enter the code? That’s what I had to do (it wasn’t applied automatically even though the email said it would be automatic).
I didn’t enter the promo code. I tried it on an Uber gift card and it worked.
