Wings Credit Union is offering a $200 bonus when you open a new checking account with promo code ROCKON and complete the following requirements:
- Deposit $100+ into your new checking account
- Activate your Visa debit card

The Fine Print

Membership and account qualifications apply.
In order to receive the $200 bonus, the first step is to qualify for membership and open a savings account with the minimum required deposit of $5. Then within 30 days of account opening you must, deposit $100 into your your new checking account and activate your debit card.
Reward is limited to one (1) unique primary owner, 18 years or older on one (1) new checking account.
The primary owner is the owner whose U.S. taxpayer identification number is on the account and is used for tax reporting purposes.
You are eligible for the $200 reward if you: 1) are either a new or existing member; 2) do not have a pre-existing Wings Checking account of any kind 3) are the primary owner of the new Wings Checking Account; 4) meet account qualifications; 5) hold $5 in a Wings Savings Account; 6) have not received a Wings Checking Offer reward in the past; 7) have provided a U.S. taxpayer identification number and 8) your account(s) with Wings is/are in good standing.
Please allow two (2) business days after the completion of requirements to receive a deposit of $200 into your primary
Wings Savings Account.
The $200 reward is tax reportable.
Offer may be withdrawn or changed at any time at Wings’ sole discretion.

Referral Bonus

There is also a $50 referral bonus for both parties. Last time Wings Financial offered a bonus the referral bonus and the main bonus stacked. Do not share your referrals in the comments below, you can share them in this linked posted instead. Some discussion on linking the promotions here. Not sure if it will stack with this new offer or not, YMMV. We won’t be reopening the referral thread currently.

Our Verdict

There is a $500 bonus as well, but that is limited to select states (MN, WI, MI, WI, FL, GA) and requires a direct deposit. This will be a better bonus for some as no direct deposit is required. Keep in mind if you’ve ever received a bonus from Wings (or ENT) you won’t be eligible as per terms. I could see this ending early. We will add this to our list of the best bank account bonuses.
