Amazon has lowered their threshold to get free shipping from $49 to $35.The e-commerce giant used to offer free shipping for orders $25 and up, then switched it to $35, then $49, then reverted back to $35 and now reverted back to the $25 threshold. Target just recently increased their free shipping threshold so this is likely in response to that.
If you have prime then this obviously won’t affect you, if you don’t then this means less need to add filler items or waiting for your cart to hit $35. I’d also recommend you read our guide to saving 8%-25% on all Amazon purchases.
