The Fine Print
- Stay must be completed by December 31st, 2017
- Offer is valid for American Express® Platinum Card Members, Business Platinum Card Members and Corporate Platinum Card Members in the U.S. and U.S. territories who have enrolled in complimentary Hilton Honors™ Gold Status through American Express and complete a qualifying stay.

Know they are for the 5000 amex/visa card promo via an official Hilton response to an FT thread. So probably similar rules for this too. Can’t say for sure though.

Wonder if you need to use your amex plat or if you can use any amex card? Terms just say amex card. Relevant if you have both the plat and either amex hilton, which are also running a promo for 5000 points after two stays. Would be great if it stacks.
@JED: I’m in your position as well. Just enrolled in the complimentary gold status and am hoping it won’t mess up my diamond status. If it does, planning on just calling Hilton and sorting it out. Fingers crossed that’s not needed. Think there’s at least a chance the systems will work it out itself, as Hilton’s site generally works well.
I have amex platinum attached to the hilton account but it gives me error while signing up. Anybody else?

I never bothered to register my Business Plat to get gold status because I am Hilton Diamond already. Is there any way I can get this offer?

Same link, the fine print says “Offer is valid for American Express® Platinum Card Members, Business Platinum Card Members and Corporate Platinum Card Member”… The first one is for personal platinum.

The terms and conditions on the link in the post are “Offer is valid for American Express® Platinum Card Members, Business Platinum Card Members and Corporate Platinum Card Members in the U.S. and U.S. territories who have enrolled in complimentary Hilton Honors™ Gold Status through American Express and complete a qualifying stay.” This may be because I have both the Personal and Business, but it definitely states Personal and Business are applicable.

would a points+cash stay count as an eligible stay, or does every night need to be fully cash with no points?
I think it needs to be fully cash, but that’s more of a guess than anything. Anybody know for sure?
