Our Verdict

Last month we saw the same sign up bonus, but it also came with MQM. I think the main reason to get this card is usually the MQM, but I guess people also want the Delta Sky Club access. Personally I don’t think this bonus is worth doing, but if you’re going to do it then a self referral or a referral from a friend would make sense as that way you’re getting an additional bonus to make up for the fact this offer has no MQM. I won’t be adding this to the best credit card bonusesbecause of that. As always if you have questions about, please read this post first before asking them.I’m not going to make a referral thread for this card and please do not post your referral links in the comments.

Not sure where to put this, but I got a mailer for the amex skymiles gold for a 50K bonus miles after 2k spend in first 3 months + 25k bonus miles after add’l 1k spend within 6 months, $95 annual fee waived for first year.

It is apparently tied to the skymiles account. go to delta.com/gold75k or call 866-758-2532.

anyone know if amex will bump you up to this offer if you just were approved for a lesser offer recently. just signed up for the 40k/$3k spend offer 2 weeks ago.

Unlikely. They almost never do, but you can always ask.

Card not worth it at all unless you fly Delta a sh-t ton every year and want the lounge access. For most (even a once-per-month flyer on Delta like myself) you’re better off just paying the occasional discounted $29 for lounge access (if you have Delta Gold or Plat) on semi-long layovers. Or just pay $550 for Amex Plat (which comes with heaps more benefits) and get access.

There can be some good value with the first class companion certificate if you find the situation on the renewal. 70K miles + the 10K MQM (assuming that deal comes back), especially when they’ve been running all of these flash sales, probably makes this card getting IMO.

MQD waiver is still 25k for going till platinum level which is pretty good for most people.

Yes, same as with this. The reason why people would get this is to chase status with Delta, otherwise there isn’t a point in it for 70K miles when the gold offers the same through targeted offers

Wow, no MQM? Absolute junk offer for a lousy 70K Skypesos
