How do you use this if you already have a Hilton account? Do the points and FNC get added to the same account. I already have Hilton Gold for the year, so the card benefits are of no use to me. Purely signing up for the SUB.
You just provide your existing HH account and the points and FNC get deposited to the same account.
Does the free night certificate expire?
It does. Usually one year from the date it’s issued.
Got a sign up bonus from them on the same card 6 years ago. Would I still be eligible for another No Fee card….

Lifetime for them is 5-7 years but it will tell you definitely before you put the application through.
Is this free night the same as the free night you’d get through the Aspire card, meaning, can I book a Waldorf or higher using this certificate?

Does anybody have an idea as to how long the points post to your account after meeting the spend requirement? Have a road trip in mid June that these points would be useful for.

This is weak unless you can find an outsized redemption value for the FN cert. 80k barely gets 3 nights, which isn’t enough for fifth night free.
The best version of this was 100k + $100 statement credit on any non-Hilton purchase back in 2021 via both paper mailer and referral. hilton.com/powerpair
Outsized value for the FN is extremely easy, unlike Marriott or IHG, since those are capped
80k isn’t getting you 3 nights anywhere except maybe a roadside Hampton in nowhere that’d you actually want to spend 3 nights.
Could pretty easily get 2 nights (1 on points, 1 on FNC) at a decent hotel. $500+ in total value more than likely. Always have a plan in mind before applying but its not a bad deal on a low spend bonus, no fee card.
Hilton Garden Inn in Bali is 10k points/night. Theres lots of international locations that are 10k/night
These Americans only care about Hilton redemptions in overcrowded cities or in overcrowded tourist hotspots on islands, so naturally they assume every redemption everywhere is expensive.
Throw in 5th night free and it’s quite useful in SE Asia. It would be 10 nights + FN cert in above Bali example.
To be fair, that hotel is right across from the airport. That’s not where you want to go if you visit Bali
I’m in a great brand new Hilton in China, with executive lounge, substantial upgrade, etc. It was 24,000 / night.
Before this I was in a brand new Hilton Garden Inn in China for 15,000 / night.
There’s a really nice DoubleTree in Sri Lanka. You can do 5 nights for about 80k there.
Calling this offer “weak” is really a stretch. I would gladly pay 20k points and $100 for a free night certificate.
And I would gladly accept that payment in exchange for my FN certificate.
