Got this as an email yesterday for my no AF Hilton card. I never use this card anymore, it’s sock drawered except for the random covid amex offers that came up over the years
I wonder how they decide targeting for these. I’ve put tons of spend on my Hilton cards this year and didn’t get anything. Probably don’t need to incentivize me to spend, but extra points are always nice
It may be that this is targeted at cardholders who haven’t spent much on their card recently. I was targeted and don’t spend much on my no-fee personal Hilton card.
I called customer service hoping I could convince them to add the offer as I was not targeted but no dice.
Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of traveler’s checks, purchases of reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or purchases of any cash equivalents. Hilton Honors Bonus Points will be posted to your Hilton Honors account 8-12 weeks after you reach the Threshold Amount.
purchases of gift cards is not eligible, wondering how they can validate that? if I purchase third party GC from amazon or bestbuy

Wish I had this on Hilton Business/Surpass cards, since it would be a nice bonus when putting spend towards the $15k for the FNC. But alas only got this on P2’s useless no-AF Hilton card.
