Our Verdict
I’m not seeing this one on my cards yet which is odd since the Amex GC offer usually shows on all cards. I do see this offer on the Amex Connect website, so it should be possible to add it to whichever card you want via this trick.
Looks like there aren’t any portals to stack this with. Chime in below if you’re aware of any promo codes to get the shipping fee or purchase fee waived.

maybe this is too obvious but while these don’t count for min spend on amex, do they get rewards on the spend at least?

Any one know if deals like this are OK to go for when meeting MSR? Seems like this is the type of purchase to avoid since the gift cards are cash equivalent.

Got it on my Bus Plat, Gold (new & old), Preferred. Used my cell app.
Got it on Starwood Preferred Guest. Offer saved. I like the fact AMEX OFFERS post instantaneously. I spent $200 Marriott and got $40 credit instantaneously. I am not sure if JPMorgan Chase offers are posting accurately, if at all.

It used to be good with Promo Code for free next day shipping plus cashback portals.
Since no free shipping promo code nor supporting cashback portal now, it makes no sense to do it, the shipping fee eats the offer.
When I added it to my card it says good through 7/12, so I’ll wait as well. Not worth the hassle to make $1.
Would you also earn MR at the ordinary rate, e.g. 2 MR/$ on BBP? Or are Amex gift card purchases excluded from MR earn?
