Our Verdict

Starbucks deals are always popular. I found this on my business card, but not on other cards. Offer excludes delivery, but will work in-store or with drive-through orders. You can also easily max this out with app reload of $33.34. Don’t forget the 5% back from Dosh as well.

I was kind of hoping this would be on my Wells Fargo Propel card. 15% for restaurant + 15% for Starbucks + 3% regular rebate.

But no luck.

Currently 15% for restaurant purchases right now on WF Propel. if There was an additional promotion for 15% on Starbucks that would post as well, then there’s 3% on food/dining by default on the card.

15% back on my Amex Hilton Business card. Reloaded $25 and $10 to my account. Quick $5. Amex has already acknowledged the transaction.

It’s too bad they’re prices are 25% more expensive the local, small business coffee shops.

I’ve actually had the opposite experience at least with the specialty drinks at the local mom and pop coffee shops in my area (SoCal) being $1-2 more expensive than Starbucks. I love supporting the small business but the constant rewards and Starbucks discounts make me end up getting Starbucks more often.

Drinking the specialty drinks will lead to things like diabetes. I wonder how much that will cost you. Only thing I get at Starbucks is unsweetened ice tea. Their black coffee is pretty awful.

Exactly. I am in the Bay area, and mom-and-pop coffee shops and other chains (Peets, and Philz) charge 50% more than Starbucks.
