Our Verdict

Grocery store deals like these are as good as cash to some people. This is likely targeted to some of those in the ShopRite footprint. Save it on a card that earns a high rate at the grocery if that’s an option, e.g. Blue Cash Preferred or Everyday Preferred.

Dang, 0/4. I easily spend $250+ at ShopRite per month as it’s my regular grocery store.

I got the generic supermarket offer of $10 back after $200 spend at any grocery store on both mine and P2’s BCP so I have been taking advantage of that.

There are 2 versions of this offer: on some cards I got the 10 % up to $15 and on other cards I got 20% up to $20.

Got it this time.
I plan on using it to buy some eBay gift cards.
The ShopRite near me don’t sell the variable load VISA gift cards so, buying a $100 and a $50 means I am spending $5.95 + $4.95 for fees which makes no sense.

My local store doesn’t allow credit cards for gift card purchases anymore. So I’ll be using mine for regular groceries.

Depends on your specific store. Most around me allow it. Also wait for a week and you will see the GC deals show up. Like buy any GC get 15 off grocery or 20 off grocery, etc. That is the best time to use these.
