The Fine Print
- Offer valid only on YouTube TV subscription purchases made at US website www.tv.youtube.com or via the YouTube TV app. Excludes all other YouTube and Google products and services.
- Offer valid only on YouTube Premium subscription purchases made at US website youtube.com/premium or via the YouTube app. Excludes all other YouTube and Google products and services.
- Please note if you purchase a subscription, unless you notify the merchant that you want to pause, cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your subscription will automatically renew for another subscription period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example monthly, or annually). This means that the merchant will collect the then-applicable subscription fee and any taxes by charging a credit card the merchant has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law. If you are a new customer receiving a free trial, you must be enrolled in the free trial prior to the campaign end date to qualify. Charges may not post to your account until the free trial has lapsed.
Our Verdict
YouTube TV is $64.99/month, but there’s an introductory rate of $54.99 for the first three months. Combined with this Amex Offer it’ll end up $34.99 for the first three. YouTube Premium is $11.99/month after the one-month free trial.
We saw the TV offer with Chase Offers once, seems like this is the first time with Amex.
Hat tip to reader Daniel O
Google domain payment triggers Youtube Premium
Can confirm.
YouTube tv seems to be triggering both offers
I have these offers on my Amex. I switched over my billing for both YouTube TV and YouTube Premium. My YouTube TV payment just posted but I haven’t received my Amex offer yet.

protip:
I get YouTube Premium for $1.15 / month for over three years now because I signed up under a Turkish VPN
This is the way
Or you can get it for $0 per month with Enhancer for youtube and ublock origin (throw in sponsor block and you have it better than youtube premium).
And if I want to use it on my phone? Apple TV?
Android or Fire TV stick for the TV with SmartTubeNext 🙂 sorry Apple lovers
Nowadays, they ask to sign up for a Google account with a local phone number. But maybe it’s possible to migrate an existing account to another country to get such a discount
Got this on Plat and Everyday. It doesn’t expire until August so this will be $20 off for 6 months. Very nice.
Only good for 3 uses.
It will disappear from one card if you’d add it to another
So glad I took premium via youtube.in while travelling in India approx $15 for the whole year
VPN FTW
VPN method didn’t work for a friend. He used surfshark, not sure about others
Are you only able to watch if you use a VPN set to India or did it only matter for the purchase?
watching videos works without having to be connected to a VPN for me. Been doing that for a few years now, too
