The Fine Print
- Get 150 is an exclusive offer.
- Offer expires 03/31/2018.
- Only those who receive a GET 150 mailer are eligible for the Get 150 bonus offer. The Get 150 bonus offer is for new Arvest customers only. All account applications are subject to approval. This offer is limited to one account per customer. Arvest associates are not eligible to participate.
-
Account must be open a minimum of 30 calendar days to be eligible to receive a bonus. Bonus criteria must be met during a full month’s statement cycle to receive a bonus. Please consult an Arvest associate to help you determine when your statement cycle begins and ends.
-
We will credit your account with a $50 bonus at the end of each statement cycle, when all criteria (as described below) are met.
-
Account must be open and must not have a negative balance to receive each bonus.
-
Up to three $50 bonuses can be earned throughout six months when criteria is met within each of three complete statement cycles, and can result in a total bonus amount of $150. The potential to earn a bonus will terminate upon the end of your sixth statement cycle. You are responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes due on your bonus. Please consult your tax advisor.
- If your account is closed, for any reason, during the bonus campaign timeframe, your eligibility to earn bonuses will end immediately upon account closure and any pending bonuses will be forfeited.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
Arvest Free Blue qualifies for this bonus and has no monthly fee to worry about. I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so I’m unsure if there is any early account termination fee or not.
Our Verdict
$150 isn’t a huge bonus, but no direct deposit requirement is always nice to see. We don’t know if it’s a soft pull and if you can fund with a credit card either. I guess there is always a possibility that the targeted language won’t be enforced, but I guess we will need to sacrifice somebody to become the datapoint we want to see. For now it definitely won’t be going on our best checking bonus page until we know more.

Wanted to add a DP since I noticed we don’t have any QDD DP for Arvest (as most of the public offers don’t require QDD).
I got targeted with the $500 mailer for the Preferred Club checking account.
http://www.arvest.com/preferred500
Arvest DID pull Chex Systems (doesn’t seem sensitive since I was approved)
No credit pull that I have seen
EWS unknown
Account Opened 6/26/25
First statement end date was 7/8/25
7/10/25 Chase Total Checking Push $300
8/7/25 $500 Bonus posted to account
Note: Arvest specifically stated in the terms that DD had to be during a full statement cycle which is why I waited until 7/10 to do the Push. Arvest gives you up to 3 statement cycles to earn the bonus. There was no min amount of the DD but the Preferred club checking does have an $18 monthly fee unless you have a total of $25K in deposit accounts or $20K in deposit accounts/loans combined
I didn’t want to tie up $25K so I just took the $18 hit so really I netted with $482.
Will close the account before the end of the next cycle to prevent another $18 charge but definitely worthwhile if you get targeted- I mean netting $482 with very little money tied up and bonus paid within 45 days of when I opened the account!
Just wanted to add some DP
I applied for and was approved for (received mailer) $500 checking offer on 6/26
Chex Systems was pulled and my CS at the time was (2/3, 9/6, 9/12) leading me to believe they are not Chex sensitive.
Also they do pull CS at least in my case
received mailer for $500, pretty sure it’s targeted as the last one was.
https://www.arvest.com/preferred500 expires Aug 8 (I see site says it’s expired)
I just did this a couple months ago, so not sure why I was targeted again, but I also don’t see any ant-churning terms on the website. anyone try churning this one a couple months after last account closure?
I got a mailer and opened the account recently. July 8th marked the start of a full statement cycle so I just made the deposit (ACH transfer) so I won’t get the bonus until the end of the cycle according to the terms but I was actually wondering the same thing. I didn’t see anywhere in the mailer account a time period or previous account holders not being eligible. Obviously, it won’t matter right now as this is the first time I am earning a bonus from Arrest, but I was wondering for future opportunities. I guess I will figure it out when the time comes but if you do participate in the offer again- I would love to know the outcome. I mean a $500 bonus when there is no min. direct deposit amount and not having to be a “qualifying” direct deposit, is pretty sweet. So I hope they do target me again in the future like they did you!
Got an email today offering a $50 referral bonus on both sides but not sure if it would stack with the above offer.
I tried this offer a few months ago, I was targeted with a postcard. Signed up online, after a couple days I couldn’t log in so called customer service. They told me the account was cancelled due to suspected fraud, no idea what prompted that.
I subsequently received a letter confirming that and telling me not to apply again in the future.
I then got another letter a month or so later saying if I didn’t log in and elect e-statements, I would be switched to a monthly fee account. I called again and was told the account wasn’t closed. Had them close it.
Anyone know what the curbing period is for cooldown
which state are eligible?
AR, MO, OK, KS (Targeted)
Rep confirmed no 1099 will be issued for 2024

Unfortunately targeted
Is this bank a joke? Today, I received an offer from the mailbox, and it says:
Ear up to $150 by completing the actions below each month for three months:
======================
Come on! Do we need to open a new checking account each month to get the bonus? Or, did they really mean that we need to open ONLY one checking account and make one DD each month for 3 months to get the bonus? Logically, I think that we are required to open ONLY one checking account, but the offer letter said the different thing.
