Best Credit Cards For Sporting Good Stores

There are not a lot of cards that earn at a higher rate on sporting goods stores, but there are a few and they seem to be coming somewhat more common so I thought I’d start maintaining a list of the best cards for sporting good store purchases. Some people spend a lot of money in this category purchase guns and ammunition or even things like RVs. Now onto the list:

REI mastercard through US Bank earns 5% CB on all REI purchases in addition to the 10% you already get on full-price items annually. Also 2% CB groceries and 1% everything else. Often there is a bonus of at least a $100 REI GC to sign up.

The Huntington Bank Voice MasterCard has sporting goods as one of the 3x categories you can choose. I realize it isn’t as much as these options, but it’s still something.

Taken from the Ducks Unlimited credit terms “Earn 1 point (equal to 1% back) for each $1.00 of Net Purchases posted to the Account that is not from a Sporting Goods Store Purchase or Gas Purchase.”

So it does earn cash back on other purchases. But you say it doesn’t.
