This week started with a bang, Staples was offering $10 off $200 Visa gift cards which meant it was a money maker before even taking into account credit card points. The deal didn’t last long, but if you’re signed up for text alerts for hot offers like this you should have been able to jump on this deal.
There were a few pieces of positive news in the credit card world, the Citi AA Executive card is now 75,000 miles after $7,500 spend. SPG is offering a 20% transfer bonus when you transfer SPG points to AA, meaning 20,000 SPG points gets you 30,000 AA miles. BBVA Compass extended the $100 and no annual fee for life promo on their NBA card, which is great because it earns 5x on all purchases twice a year and also often comes with promotions like 6% cash back on travel purchases.
