Last week we finally got more information on what would happen with the Costco credit card when it switches from American Express to Citi & Visa in the form of a leaked memo. American Express is again offer 50k points + $50 statement credit on the business & personal versions of the Delta card, although I’d wait for a better bonus.
AmEx is also offering two targeted transfer bonuses for Membership Rewards points, 50% to SPG & 30% to KLM/Air France with both being about as good as it gets. All airline reimbursements from American Express are finally coming through as well. If you received the targeted 50k Chase Hyatt offer, I’d definitely recommend grabbing it unless you plan to stay at category 7 properties.
If you’re considering the 50k Citi bank bonuses (ThankYou points or American Airline miles), then read this step by step guide first. Santander also has a $150 nationwide bonus that is worth considering as well.
Overall it was a bad week for manufactured spending, Redbird is no longer an option (click here for your other options) & Giftcards.com removed their $500 cards. On the bright side Office Max/Depot is now selling $500 cards which is a killer combo with the 5x earning cards.
