The Offer

Check your Capital One Shopping homepage and email and your Capital One Offers (login) for an offer at Giftcards.com:

• Get 6% or 7% or 8% back on Visa/Mastercard and Gift of College gift cards
• Get 7.5% or 8.5% or 9.5% back on most other brands
• Gas, Grocery, Department Store, and One4All have a lower 5-5.5% rate

I’m seeing the lower amounts on my Capital One Shopping homepage and the higher amounts via email offer. I then got a separate email with a link for the 8%/9.5% deals. Capital One Offers likely has a similar deal as well.

Our Verdict

Nice deal for gift card purchases. As always, keep in mind that Capital One Shopping portal does not require having a Capital One card or bank account. Also remember that the rewards are not cash but rather they cash out as gift cards for various brands.
