Yesterday we posted about an in branch offer of 30,000 points after $500 in spend on the Chase Freedom Unlimited. The offer is only available in branch and only to some selected customers. I have no idea how they decide who is targeted, I think having Chase Private Client status helps but people without it have also reported being targeted. Reader Michael also reported being offered the following:
- Chase Freedom: 30,000 points
- Chase Sapphire Preferred: 60,000 points
- Chase Sapphire Reserve: 60,000 points
Keep in mind if you’re pre-approved in branch that this will by pass the 5/24 rule. Last time they had a similar offer it was 70,000 points for the Chase Sapphire Preferred so I’m actually a little surprised to see the bonus has been reduced. I don’t think making a special visit is worth it as most people won’t be eligible, but if you live near a branch or are going in for the $300 checking & $200 savings bonus it’s always a good idea to check for offers.
