The Offer
- Get 20% off when you order ahead with Chase and spend up to $25.
The Fine Print
- Valid 2/1 – 2/3 or while supplies last
- At this time, you can only redeem in-store offers with a QR code. Offers don’t apply to tap and pay transactions.
- Participating restaurants only
Our Verdict
Not as good as the $5-off-$5 offers we’ve seen, but nice that it runs for 3 days, including Super Bowl Sunday.
Chase Pay also restarted it’s deal to get a $10 credit when you order 3 times, so this Super Bowl deal could count for 1 of the 3.

Not only did this offer work, it stacked with another CHASE PAY offer of $3 off any order. The second offer was valid only at one restaurant which is why I used it there. Thanks!
The second offer was likely a one time welcome offer for that particular restaurant.
I do not see many participating restaurants in NE
This makes no sense. What’s the point of using the QR code in store if you’re ordering ahead (and paying)? And the times I’ve tried to used the QR code, it didn’t work. So I don’t even want to bother using the QR code.
They’re paying us to train the merchants to use the QR code in store. (I rarely order ahead unless there’s the $5/$5 or other offer like this and think it works pretty well.)
Potbelly and Mod pizza is pretty good for me where the cashier knows how to use it. Others seem like a battle to tell them that it is supposed to work here, even when I’ve used it before at that merchant.
Order ahead has always worked for me but I see first purchase discounts for some restaurants for using the QR code. I want to use them but only if it’s not a hassle. How are you able to get the cashier to use the QR code when they tell you it doesn’t work?
I just pulled up the actual offer on my Chase Pay app and I think Chuck may have misinterpreted it. No where in the actual offer does it say “Must redeem with QR code”. It says “At this time, you can only redeem in-store offers with a QR code. Offers don’t apply to tap and pay transactions”. So I think that’s standard language indicating that for Chase Pay offers you redeem in-store, you have to use the QR code method rather than Tap & Pay.
But this offer is an “Order Ahead” offer, not an “In-store” offer, so I think those terms don’t even apply here. I could be wrong of course, and we’ll know soon enough when someone decides to be the guinea pig.
I’ll clarify the language in the post, thanks
How do you “order ahead” if you must redeem with QR code in store?
The “Must redeem with QR code” must be an error. I ordered ahead and got the 20% discount and picked up my order at the restaurant.
“Or until offers run out”? Wow, Chase.
Standard language
Let’s not be choosing beggars with this. Anything that can save me money on food is a good deal.
