Our Verdict

We’ve seen two bonuses on this card since it launched:

This is basically the same as the previous 75k offer but with the option of earning an additional 75k miles as well and the AF not waived. If you can hit the $20,000 spend requirement and have a use of the United miles then this is a great offer and we will add it to the best credit card bonuses. As always read these things everybody should know about Chase cards before applying.

I’m seeing personal card bonus offers with United being higher through referral than the public offer atm.

does the last seat availability still mean anything? I remember something changed when United changed their cards a few years ago, but can’t seem to find what changed regarding the last seat availability.

Instant 7-10 days, then an approval email pretty much instantly. 4/24, plus 3 (now 4) chase biz cards since hitting 4/24.

Just got approved for this card (Chase United Business), but it took 9 days from application to approval (I didn’t call in). The initial email message right after applying said they would tell me in writing in 30 days, then the phone status (800-453-9719) said “two weeks”. I thought they might ask me to reduce credit limits on my 3 other Chase business cards, but didn’t need to in the end.

I got approved for the $150K offer but I was not able to use a referral from P2 because the referral link only showed a 75K offer.

Can you get the card multiple times if you already have one open from the past year?

Spend additional 15k for additional 75,000 miles after getting the initial 75k miles for 5k spend, and no AF fee waived makes it NOT the best offer. I would rather spend additional 15kK spend on 2 to 3 other cards collectively and net more bonus points, FYI. Thoughts??????

Same. I also feel like the minority but charging 20 grand is tough even for 6 months. It isn’t doable for me and even if I could spend that I’d rather use 15k spend on easier to hit bonuses on like 3 or 4 other cards.

I did it the last time around by buying $1000 gift cards at Simon Mall and using it to pay taxes to the IRS. With the annual fee it ended up costing $230 for 170,000 miles.

Used 6600 miles to pay the annual fee. You can get 1.5 per mile. After year one, you get a 5000 mile bonus if holding a personal card+business card.

Once the annual fee posts, you have 90 days to use miles for the fee. After 90 days the option expires

mperks has been great for offsetting costs+profit. Lowes currently has a gift card deal for visa cards. Nice double stack for another card

Did the United business card last yr.

Exactly. I was debating matching the Alaska biz offer, then realized- get 42k points + only spend $1875 (due to $200 statement credit) vs get 74k points and pay $75 for spending $4k…stayed with original offer. Do the math folks. Pretty bummed about this UA card, this was next on my list and was hoping for the no AF offer still
