Our Verdict

Interesting offer, all inclusive properties aren’t really for me so I have no idea how competitively these are priced compared to similar resorts. The 60k bonus points is nice, but I do wonder if there are better deals if you book elsewhere.

I booked this deal last November 23, 2020 when they offered 70,000 points, same terms. Now, after the actual stay in June 2021 they are giving me a super hard time about actually getting the 70k points. was already on the phone for an hour mostly on hold. They told me to email them after the hour of hold, now back and forth with email they continue to deny the points. Genuinely terrible customer service. Do not recommend. Also Secrets is very overrated IMO. I will not be going to one of these AM resorts again unless its very cheap.

I’m a notoriously cheap person. What is the best value?

Bad deal in my case:

I have 7 nights booked at Secrets Cap Cana in August + 2 roundtrip nonstop flights for at a total cost of $2800.

I put in the same dates here and it came to $3350 for the room only.

At $500+ a night in October in St. Maarten, there had better be unlimited food and booze. The kids-stay-free benefit kills this for me because I don’t have kids and would never dream of having them.

On a more interesting note, some properties offer free, on-property COVID-19 viral antigen testing before departure to guests staying at least 3 nights.
