Our Verdict
I think it’s disingenuous that Delta doesn’t publish an award chart anymore and uses ‘dynamic pricing’ but still claim to have award sales like this. Delta Premium Select is a new product that you can look at here. I’ve got no idea how much these flights normally cost anymore (I think 70,000 miles round trip for main cabin and 99,000 for premium select but please correct me if I’m wrong). Personally I think any time you redeem your Delta miles is a good time so see if you can get the sale to work for you.
It’s 70k/99k normally but that’s only if you luck out with availability, it can go up to 110k/150k otherwise
Thanks, good to know I was right about the lowest base rate.
Nothing from Hawaii
I can confirm it is 70k typically for Asia RT.
Thanks, made this much clearer.
FYI, Premium Select is a 2-4-2 offering on the new A350. It is used to denote Delta’s true Premium Economy offering, unlike the Comfort+ class. It is confusing because Delta is marketing both products as Premium Economy in the GDS and so it shows up in places like Google Flights as similar products.

“The Fine Print” section is confusing, these seem to be the dates when the tickets in the main cabin are not available.
