• Delta is offering round trip award flights to Asia for 65,000 miles in economy and 80,000 miles in Premium Select (plus taxes and fees) when you book by 11:59PM ET August 16th, 2017. For the following destinations:
  • Tokyo, Japan (NRT)
  • Seoul, South Korea (ICN)
  • Beijing, China (PEK)
• Travel periods are as follows:
  • Outbound travel from the U.S. to Japan/Singapore/Manila permitted between October 30, 2017 and January 31, 2018.
    Outbound travel from the U.S. to Korea permitted between November 18, 2017 and January 31, 2018.
    Outbound travel from the U.S. to China/Hong Kong permitted between January 17, 2018 and April 17, 2018.

Our Verdict

I think it’s disingenuous that Delta doesn’t publish an award chart anymore and uses ‘dynamic pricing’ but still claim to have award sales like this. Delta Premium Select is a new product that you can look at here. I’ve got no idea how much these flights normally cost anymore (I think 70,000 miles round trip for main cabin and 99,000 for premium select but please correct me if I’m wrong). Personally I think any time you redeem your Delta miles is a good time so see if you can get the sale to work for you.
