Many Flyertalk members are reporting getting a free gift from Delta as a thank you for being Medallion members.
They sent an assortment of candy and nuts from Dean & Deluca. It retails for $40.

Always nice to see these kinds of gestures from large companies for their loyalists. I wonder whether there was a specific reason for sending these now and how they decided who to send.
