Our Verdict

I got this email offer, and some readers sent it in as well (email subject: Get $10 when you send a gift of $20 or more). We’ve added a public link here too – this offer is for everyone.

Sounds like you have to send the gift order to an address other than your own. This offer stacks well with the Chase Sapphire Reserve $60 statement credit benefit or with the AmEx Offer for $10 back on $30 order.

I did this yesterday, and it was easy. I started a delivery order as normal. On the checkout page I just selected “send as a gift” and entered a different name; kept the delivery address as my own. Today I got an email with a link to add a code for $10 off my next order.

Can you send the gift to someone in the same household?

These elaborate promos are such a headache. Just give us $5 off already, its so much easier. Enough of the jumping through stupid hoops.

That’s why you shouldn’t buy their stock once they go IPO.

“Promo code not valid on pickup orders” = No thanks. basically just pays for the fees and tip if you’re lucky.

I think the title is wrong. As I understand it, you need to place a food order and mark it as a gift for someone else. This is very different from a gift card. I don’t believe you’ll get anything if you buy a $20 gift card for this promo, but I could be wrong.
