I got the “pro” membership a couple months ago when it was posted on DoC.. and I still haven’t used any of the benefits.. what would be the best way to use the benefits? I live far from any Gamestop branch.. so I could plan a trip to use the $5 / month credits.. but can you stack them? any way to use them online?

AMEX plat Credits and GC question
Does Uber/Eats use GC balance (Wallet funds) before the monthly AmEx Plat Credit?
Wanted to load cards but didn’t want to lose Amex credits by having to use up GC credits first.
I vaguely recall reading something to that effect and next month it’s $35/plat.

I have the same question. Loaded one into my account and then realized the possible error of my ways. For now I’m just going keep the GCs without loading them.
It will use up the Platinum/Gold credits first before tapping into the GC balance.
I have had a gift card loaded to my Uber eats for a while. The Amex credits will be used before gift cards, at least that’s my experience. Hopefully that will be the same for others. Hope this helps.

Managed to get 2 orders of 3 each in. People should add these immediately in case they decide to cancel and refund.
has that ever happened to anyone before? I think it’s too complicated to do that. If Uber wanted to go that far, they could even subtract the credit from your account and then refund?

correct, its happened before with Groupon cancelling a godaddy deal a few years back
They give you the code within about a minute so I don’t think they can cancel at that point. If they delay delivery, then they can definitely cancel.
I placed 3 order, each has 3 GCs. The first order arrived immediately, the 2nd one arrived 2 hour later, the 3rd about 12 hours later.
Damn they got me – saw the discount in the cart but it died while I was checking out and didn’t notice that the price had changed… It’s going to feel so wrong using a full priced gift card!
Update 3:27pm PST – the site removed it and charged me the full amount after checking out. I have emailed customer service or I will just tell my cc it is fraud if they don’t fix it.
