  • Giftcardgranny.com is offering 2% off Visa & Mastercard with promo code SUMMER2022

The Fine Print

  • August 31, 2022
  • Limit 1 card per order

Our Verdict

Fees are as follows:

  • $1.99 shipping fee
  • $6.95 order processing fee
  • $1 personalization fee for adding a picture

No need to pay the shipping or personalization fee if you purchase eGiftcards. Total costs for a $500 card are as follows:

  • Physical gift card: $499.94
  • eGiftcard: $496.95

You can try going through a portal but the use of the promo code will probably invalidate cashback.

Got this 15 minutes after placing order: “We are sorry! Your order with Gift Card Granny has been cancelled due to the image you requested to print on the Visa / Mastercard”.
Image used was a generic outdoor scene. Screw this site

Can anyone share the first six digits of the card#?

I chose an e-gift; uploaded a photo (no cost — it was a hard stop, would not let me advance to next page); total cost 496.95. had to verify my email, and “Once your email address has been verified, your order will be processed and delivered within the expected time frame.” [15 minutes – 4 hours] . took closer to 4 hours. Worked, but this is one of those ‘debit visas’ that is recognized by websites as a credit card. I am paying son’s tuition that has a favorable fee for debit, and it does not work as such, only as a ‘credit card’. Will try prepaying taxes and see if that works as debit.

Can someone explain why this isn’t a good deal? You get $3 off the top plus 5.25% if you use online category for BOA with preferred rewards, and then you can use the gift card as a Visa gift card for something like your utility bill that you can’t usually get a large cashback rate on.

What am I missing (besides a pesky vendor that frequently cancels)?

It’s an opportunity if you can get a “high” cashback on this purchase and then liquidate the GC on something you normally wouldn’t have cashback on or a “low” cashback, yes.
The gain being “high”-“low”.
All depends on your personal situation, seems like it is beneficial in your case?
If for the $3 only, definitely not worth the time/risk.

Order basically instantly cancelled even though account was verified within 5 mins of order completing. Created this account ages ago but never used. Unsure if they’re just harvesting info or they’re that picky with Paypal payment method (original account info was XYZ, Paypal account info is ABC, with XYZ as a sub email…)

Not gonna try again, but also disappointed can’t take advantage of Paypal/Discover benefits

“No need to pay the shipping or personalization fee if you purchase eGiftcards.”

I selected “Virtual Gift (Email),” but it still won’t let me proceed until I add a photo (which would incur an additional fee). It says “Please add a photo” in red font when I click “next” without first adding a photo.

Sorry, I just realized that your post meant you can add a photo without paying the fee. I thought it meant you don’t have to add a photo when you choose virtual giftcard.

Got this when I tried to order in an account that has been active for 5 years: “Your account information has been reviewed and we are not able to accept new orders from your account or it’s associated information going forward.”

I just signed up P2 and all went well using PayPal Discover.

I got same message… followed by an email from PP that says– You authorized a transaction to Gift Card Granny. Money won’t leave your account until Gift Card Granny processes your order.

Followed by this gem today– Forget something?
It looks like you left some great gift cards in your cart!

They want me to buy. They don’t want me to buy. They charged my PP. They didn’t charge my PP.
