Hard Rock Atlantic City – Get Up To Two Free Nights Based On Your Elite Status

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Hard Rock Atlantic city is offering up to two free nights based on your player’s club card. There are three offers:
    • Up to two free nights
    • One free night
    • 25% off
  • Interestingly they name individual casino’s, but what they actually care about is your status with that chain. For example:
    • Borgata is part of Mlife
    • Harrahs, Ceasars and Bally’s are part of Total Rewards

The Fine Print

  • All offers are based on availability.
  • This is a promotional rate, only valid for guests that can present a loyalty card from one of the following casinos: Any Hard Rock Casino, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Caesars, Harrah’s, Bally’s, Golden Nugget Atlantic City, Parx Casino, Resorts Casino Hotel, Sugarhouse Casino, Taj Mahal, Tropicana Atlantic City.
  • The loyalty card must be in good shape, with the name of the primary guest on the reservation.
  • Offer valid one time only.
  • Multiple reservations are subject to cancellation.
  • If the guest is unable to present the valid loyalty card upon arrival, the reservation rate will be adjusted to the prevailing rate.
  • Must sign up for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City’s Wild Card Rewards upon arrival.

Our Verdict

People might have Mlife gold status from matching Hyatt status. You might have Total Rewards Diamond status from Wyndham matching or the Total Rewards credit card. Those would both be enough for one free night. Total Rewards also has a similar deal for free stays at The Atlantis. Keep in mind there is a $22 resort fee charged per night.

Are these matching to Hard Rock and Ocean on-going offers? Saw that these offers will end in Sept. Would they extend? Have they been extended? Thanks!

At Hard Rock and at Ocean have a host (aka Player Development Executive) set up your comps for you and schedule your stay. .You can find the phone numbers for Player Development on the casinos’ websites, or just phone the casino’s main number and ask to be transferred to a Player Development Executive.

I preferred Harrah’s way of distributing comps: the person who upgraded my status handed me physical comp certificates at the time as my new Total Rewards card.

Wife & I went to A.C. last night and matched the following. TR Diamond to new Hard Rock “Rock Royalty” which gave us each $150 free play, $80 comps, 2 free nights and one access to either the buffet or lounge. Had already each received 2 free nights from another promo @ the HR so now have a total of 8 free nights. 10 comp $’s get’s you into the buffet or lounge so we have enough for 16 visits.

Next we went to the new Ocean Resort and matched to their “Black Card” using our new Rock Royalty cards. We each received 2 free nights, $15 free play. There are two lounges in the Ocean Resort that is complimentary for Black card members. We went to both and the free food and drink is unlimited. We can each bring three guest so let’s get the party started. I really like the fact that you can use 12K Hyatt points for a free night @ the Ocean Resort.

Between the two casinos, we have 12 free nights. A.C. was packed and hopping last night. We have never come remotely close to qualifying for any status @ any casino. The magic of status match is awesome and to think all our status came from lowly IHG Platinum 3 or 4 years ago matching to Hilton & Hyatt top status.

When do the free nights generally expire? Wondering how long we have to use them all.

You got another 2 free nights at the HR once you did the official match on arrival? That is going to be a completely unexpected but pleasant surprise! I will make sure to go get matched at the Ocean Resort as well… Who knew my double-traded Hyatt->Mlife->Hyatt->Mlife status circle would pay off this much!

@David, can you please elaborate the following?
“Had already each received 2 free nights from another promo @ the HR so now have a total of 8 free nights”.

How did you get another 2 free nights from another promo at the Hard Rock? AFAIK, there is only one promo. Is this promo targeted? Thanks!

FYI, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is the former Taj Mahal property, purchased by Hard Rock International from Icahn in March 2017. They claim to have invested $500 million in renovations. It’s expected to open on June 28, 2018.

They also quoted a resort fee of $22 per night.
