Headsup: Check if your Amazon No-Rush-Shipping Credits are Expiring on November 2 [Chat To Upgrade]

Update: DansDeals is reporting that you can start a chat with Amazon and ask the credits be changed into a sitewide credit. Dan notes that they didn’t do that for him, but instead refunded the credits onto an Amazon gift card (basically the same outcome). Definitely worth doing if you have no rush shipping credits available. Seems to also be working on prime now credits.

Original Post:

Just a quick heads-up: many of us have Amazon no rush credits which expire on November 2nd. Rewards expire at midnight PT on the date specified. The group expiring now is the $1 digital credit offer – check the link below and it’ll show your full list of credits and their expiration.

Check your No Rush Credit balance at this link (affiliate link here and below)

Digital credits can be used for toward eligible Kindle eBooks, Amazon Appstore apps, Amazon Music downloads, or Prime Video rentals or purchases, Kindle eBooks, Music downloads, or Amazon appstore apps.

Used to be possible to use them on digital gift cards, but that ended a while back. Let us know if you have any good ideas of what to use these on.

Use it or lose it.

I had $1 expiring today and I live chatted customer service to ask if they could change it to a gift card or to extend the expiration. First agent had no idea what I was talking about and got a supervisor. Frank was courteous and helpful. Couldn’t change the expiration or the existing reward, so he gave me a $5 credit towards items sold by amazon direct, not a third-party seller. Has 5x the original value, so I was not complaining!

Thanks for the reminder. I have $50 in “Prime Now rewards.” Are these the same thing? Do I have to use them for the Prime Now shopping, or can they be used for Amazon prime videos or the other things you mentioned?

I’m in the same boat as you. I think you’re going to have to use Prime Now shopping. The important thing is whether there is a limit per order. Mine are usually limited to $5 per order making them more or less worthless.

I don’t think the Prime Now shopping is ready for “Prime Time”. Good luck.

I thought the idea is to chat with an Amazon rep and get them to convert them to a regular Amazon gift card. I have used no rush shipping many times but not recently. The rep could not find any credits in my system at all , i was a little upset about that , but she gave me a $5 amazon gift card credit as a consolation so I’m very happy for that. It was worth the chat . BTW it was easy to get to the chat and really only had to wait less than a minute to connect.. unlike many companies.

Had a similar story. I had $1 expiring and they gave me a $5 credit towards an amazon.com sold item.

How do you get to the chat feature? I’ve looked and haven’t been able to find it.

Thanks for the heads up, I would have lost my credits. Got a bunch of Kindle e-books.

Are these credits usable on Kindle e-books? I have $40.01 in credits, but only $1.00 is eligible for use on kindle e-books.

When I go to https://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000811661#gc. It has it broken down Amazon MP3, Amazon Video, Kindle editions, software/video games. My balance is $40.01 for MP3, Video, and software, but only $1 for kindle editions. All of my balance would have come from the no-rush digital credits.

If anyone really isn’t going to use their credits, my sister-in-law is trying to collect Kindle copies of her book to give away as promotions. They’re 6.99. If your credits are going to expire anyway, you can select “give as a gift” and send it to me, or send it to yourself and forward it to me privately. Let me know, and I’ll give the title and my email.
Hope this is okay to post!

I wish DOC had a simple E book / kindle book or something. I have $3 which may go to waste. If there was a book to buy, even a simple one, I would buy it to show gratitude
