The Offer
Check your Kroger coupons for the following offers:
- Save the digital coupon to get 4x fuel points on participating third-party gift cards.
- Save the digital coupon to get 4x fuel points on Visa and Mastercard fixed-value gift cards.
- Some people are seeing another coupons as well: Get 200 bonus fuel points when you buy any fixed-denomination Visa or Mastercard gift card. Expires 5/13.
Some people might also have discounted gift card coupons saved in their coupons which will stack nicely with this.
The standard deal at Kroger is 2x fuel points on gift card purchases, and they’ll occasionally release offers for 4x.
The Fine Print
- Valid this weekend – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (5/11-5/13).
- Fuel points earned in May will be valid through the end of June.
- Usually, every 1000 fuel points will get you a discount of $1 per gallon with a 35-gallon limit, a max value of $35 per 1000-points, though these details do vary by store and region.
Our Verdict
I figure people like a headsup on these kinds of deals. We’ll repost Friday. It also times nicely because Kroger is running a summer-long coupon to get double points on groceries when shopping on the weekend.
Between the two coupons, you can hopefully get an unlimited 4x fuel points on all gift cards with the exception of Kroger gift cards, Amex gift cards, and variable-load Visa/MC/Amex gift cards. Note, the 3rd-party offer states “participating gift cards,” I believe that typically means it works on all third-party cards.
Grocery purchases made this quarter can get 5% back with Chase Freedom and Discover IT cards as part of the quarterly categories.
