Avoiding Fees

Monthly Fees

easyChecking has no monthly fees to worry about

Early Account Termination Fee

I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule, so unsure if there is any early account termination fee or not.

Our Verdict

Not worth doing due to the fact it’s a hard pull to open unfortunately. Because of that we will not be adding it to the best bank bonus page.

  • Hard pull chex, hard pull transunion, then denied me anyway. I assume chex sensitivity, but I haven't had a lot of chex/hard pulls in the past year. My transunion is 6 pulls in 2 years. chex is more but dont feel like counting, probably 24 in 2 years. So I would say sensitive. It's been several weeks and received no adverse action notice and don't feel like pursuing it further, so proceed with caution if you have moderate chex./hard inquiries

    • Received adverse action says "Number of recent inquiries on credit bureau report". I only have 6 in 2 years.

  • Chat and call confirms hard pull. They really need to get someone to turn off the switch regarding the hard credit reports for ID verification.
