These points expire after a few weeks. Points can possibly be worth more when used for gas instead of groceries since you can get $1 off a gallon of gas up to 30 gallons which is a value of up to $30.
Meijer sells $200 Visa gift cards, and some locations sell $500 Visa gift cards, so this is a profitable deal especially when you use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases.
