Our Verdict
I’ve never used or really heard of Mobee before (I’ve heard of the concept, but not sure if it was Mobee or a competitor) basically they pay you points for completing tasks that would usually be completed by a mystery shopper. E.g, go into a store and ask where the shampoo is then rate the store and the person who helped you as well as noting their name tag.
It seems the more basic missions will give you 100 points ($1) whilst ones that require you to make an actual purchase will offer a lot more ($5-$10 depending on the item). This could be an easy way to make a bit of extra cash when you’re bored or waiting for something. I always wanted to be a mystery shopper/secret shopping when I was younger and given how much less Meboo is paying people who use the app than a mystery shopper you can see why companies would be more inclined to use them.
My plan is to sign up, get the $6 and try a basic mission. If it’s not to bad of a experience I may look at doing it more, even if just to see how much you could feasibly make per hour.
