Our Verdict
Mygiftcardsplus is nice in that you can choose your own denomination. Another positive is that you get credit card rewards on the entire purchase, before the discount, since the rewards come as a credit back to your Swagbucks account. More details can be found in our review of mygiftcardplus here.

Screw these guys. I got in on the last 10% back in Swagbucks deal a couple weeks ago. My GC purchases went thought and my Swagbucks appeared…but when I went to redeem the Swagbucks, bam, the next day, they deactivated my Swagbucks account, then had the audacity to claim that I didn’t follow their Terms of Service. Which is absolute B.S.

This is a real worry. Even Frequent Miler got affected by this (lost $300). In the future, I’ll probably stay away from these deals and go for straight discount or maybe Best Buy/Target gift cards, as they are not known to block you like MyGiftCardsPlus/Swagbucks.
This whole thing with MyGiftCardsMinus and Crapbucks reminds me a modern day version CyberRebates where they attract you with big cashback (i.e. “rebates”) and never actually pay out the cashback. SSDD
I ordered the day of and now it’s day 5 and I still have no gift card…it seems a bit ridiculous. Trying to get in touch with someone there and not great. Not sure I would ever recommend anything Swagbucks related to anyone ever. Have had nothing but issues with them.
Same. First they ask for redacted photos of my driver’s license and credit card. That approved Airbnb gift cards, but now I’m waiting 4 days for delta gift cards.
Fwiw, does NOT code as online shopping for BofA CCR Visa. Also, they send you address verification and if you comply they give you extra 100 SB with next gift card purchase.

Update: even with PayPal, does NOT code as online shopping for my BofA CCR visa (to be clear, I mean it doesn’t get the bonus, likely due to the category POI FUNDING TRANSACTION)
Swagbucks also has Airbnb gift cards at 10% off if you have a ton of points to redeem.
I only tried making a purchase one time.. and it was canceled 24 hours later with no gift card received.. does this always happen? I’ve had an active Swagbucks account for 10+ years..
I’ve made a few 50$ purchases for Swago. Always had success with it.
Edit: Swagbucks account isn’t very old either. Mine was deactivated for inactivity, my current account, post-reactivation, is only about half a year old.

It works without issue. I have 2x upromise and I do $150/month on both. Just pay with it, no extra hoops of activating etc.
What gift cards are you buying each month?
It looks like they don’t sell Walmart or Target.
I typically buy gift cards for upcoming accommodations, for example I’m planning on going on a cruise next winter and will book it likely in 2-3 months so every month I purchase a $100 carnival GC at 7% off and one of the monthly advertised discounted $50 restaurant GC (like this month’s 15% off Applebees):
$1.87 cashback from the card, $14.50 in discounts + $20 upromise bonus = $36.37/$150 = Total of 24.2% off my cruise at the end of the year and monthly chain date night with the Mrs.

You also get an extra 100 SB for orders over $100. Not sure if only for first order of $100 or more or all.
Has anyone had issues with AMEX Platinum coding MyGiftCardsPlus.com orders as cash advance? Looking to make some larger purchases to meet spending bonus. I imagine if AMEX reviews the account and sees “MyGiftCardsPlus” or “GiftCards.com” or anything relating to gift cards, they might flag and close the account?
No there are no issues using Amex cards to make purchases with MGCP.
The issue is not that it will code as a cash advance, but that Amex officially doesn’t allow meeting MSR for SUBs by buying gift cards. They are OK with gift cards otherwise (e.g. they will earn regular rewards, annual spend requirements for free nights/status boosts etc). You might get away with it but it’s not worth the risk of not getting the bonus IMO.
