This is better than the standard offers which are usually for $10/$15 off when you purchase $300+ in Visa/Mastercard gift cards. Make sure to use a card that earns at a high rate on office supply stores, Chase and other banks also have a 10% back deal as well. Deal isn’t being advertised online but is being advertised in store. There’s a Staples stores deal this week as well.Â

Two OD in central florida no longer selling giftcards of any kind.
Recently bought VGCs at two different OD in central FL. The location of VGCs had been moved to the back of the store but they were still there. Can you specify which stores you found no longer carry VGCs?

I just bought a Kevlar visa $200 at Office Depot in the PDX area expiration 04/28 and the fee on the card has been increased to 6.95 per card.
Dine everywhere becomes the clear winner.

That’s always been the fee for those $200 cards.
Is the 5.95 only for the $100 I must have got it confused with the Kevlar $500s at Safeway that are 5.95.. which doesn’t really make any sense.

Went to 1 OD in IN and the rep said the same thing: we dont have any gc on the floor right now, it must have some issue or somethings, and we dont know when we gonna have it again.
Tried two different Office Depot’s in the Metro Detroit market today and asked 2 CSRs where their GCs were since I couldn’t find them. They said they no longer sell ANY gift cards in-store anymore due to fraud. No VGCs, MCGCs, or 3rd party. So, ymmv on this.
Must be a Detroit thing….no issues in Colorado.
My local Office Max said they were having too many issues with fraud so they pulled ALL their gift cards.
The gift card rack in my local OD had been moved to the far back of the store, but it was well stocked, so no complaints,
This was West Covina CA which I hit hard last year. No more gift cards at all. It used to be on a rack in the back.
Two ODs are cash only for all gift cards and one OD took the whole gift card rack off the floor. All said they had fraud issues earlier this year. CC cloners were purchasing GCs to liquate the stolen CC info. Three other ODs still sell VGCs and accept CC for payment. So it really comes down to a store manager decision.

It’s been longer than that, they have one every month from what I can tell.
last deal ended May 30 (for VGCs), so only 2 weeks ago. Hope this pace continues.
