Our Verdict
Not the greatest deal, could be useful for someone who has a steady way of using up Amex gift cards. The $10 Office Depot/Max gift card more than offsets the activation fees and lets you rack up INK points.
You should also be able to do the $20-off-$100 deal in the same transaction, but they made that deal way less useful by removing the best gift card options. There’s also a better deal this week from Staples to get $20 gift card back with $300 in Amex gift card purchases.
