PACSUN cardholders should have been notified that on July 31st, 2016 the credit card program will be ending. This card is issued by Comenity Bank and was somewhat popular due to the fact that the shopping cart trick worked. Comenity also recently announced that they would be closing CREDO accounts as well. At this stage it isn’t clear if Comenity is ending these relationships to focus on more profitable accounts or the contracts simply expired and they weren’t able to come to terms.
Would this have any affect on my credit score ?
and will it be completely erased on the list of credit cards i have ?
It would fall off your report after 7/10 years, so won’t have a huge impact apart from the fact that your credit utilization ratio will likely change.
This may have something to do with Pacsun being in Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
That makes sense!
