Priority Pass Adds 12 New Lounges

Every month Priority Pass adds new lounges to their network. Given how many credit cards now offer priority pass membership I thought it would be worth mentioning the new additions. This month they have added the following 12 lounges:

Anybody know how the credits work at the Brisbane airports? Could I visit all three restaurants and get $36 at each? Let me know your thoughts on these new additions in the comments below.

I went to the Paris Yotelair lounge 10 days ago on July 11. It really sucked. I arrived around 12:00PM and they’d completely ran out of food and nearly all their drinks were gone. They had a few bottles of Pepsi for 3 Euros a piece and not much else. They gave us 20 Euros in credit to spend on their non-existent food offerings.

The lounge area was a bit small, but seemed nice enough. We left right away and bought some food and drinks at the cafe down the hall.

The location of the lounge makes it a huge hassle to get there and since it’s before security you need to leave plenty of time to get to your gate. Definitely wasn’t worth the hassle.

welcome to the club where everyone diamond means nobody diamond. PP oversubscribed and its too obvious. PP should rebrand to “PUBLIC PLACE”…

As a Chinese who thought myself is good at Geography of China, I didn’t recognize “Wuhai” until googled it.

Good info, but just reinforces my opinion that Priority Pass is virtually worthless for domestic travel. Seems great for international, but only a handful of domestic lounges participate – and those that do have lots of reports of capacity issues.

Yes, you should be able to use the $36 credit at all 3 Brisbane places in one visit. I’ve read multiple accounts of people doing this successfully at SYD, although I haven’t tried myself. Planning on testing it when I’m down under in December at both SYD and BNE.

With all that extra money coming in from credit card sign ups, they are putting it to good use.

There’s also a new lounge at PIT that PP gets you into. It’s currently in a temporary (read: really small) space in Terminal C, but they’re building a bigger one that opens later this year. It opened about a month ago when the Condor PIT->FRA flight started.

Thanks for that info. Do you know if I can take advantage of this lounge if I am arriving at PIT from domestic flight(Southwest)? Or are these lounges meant for international travel? Please advise and thanks in advance.

I don’t see why not. PIT is shaped sort of like a Las Vegas hotel (4 wings with a center hub). You can access any of the terminals once you’re through security.

It definitely is “meant” for international travelers, but I don’t know why PP wouldn’t get you in. Condor and Delta also have deals that if you’re traveling in first/business you can use the lounge. On my first visit, I gave them my PP card, but they also wanted to see my boarding pass (which was a Delta business class ticket), so they might have actually double dipped. A week from today I’m flying AA economy domestic and will make sure that I can still access the lounge with just my PP.

You can get separate credits at each restaurant but you wouldn’t be able to accomplish a hat trick unless you are connecting domestic to international.
