Raise has added a cap on how the volume of gift cards which can be purchased from Staples, Toys R Us, and Sephora.
- Staples $500 limit
- Toys R Us $750 limit
- Sephora $1,000 limit
- Added: Barned & Noble $200
This limit automatically resets weekly.
When you add too much to your cart, the system will pop up with a message saying that you exceeded your allowed buy amount. Even bulk buyers can’t bypass this limit (despite the implication of the popup).
Orensmoneysaver first noticed the Staples limit, and my friend @mileswhip tipped me off to the other two limited brands.
The cap is due to merchant request, not a fraud thing. Raise hopes to eventually ease these limits if they can.
