In NZ (Hilton Queenstown) and others I paid on-site, had cc fees. A CC was required for checking in, but when checking out, I could pay with cash/debit for no fee. However, their advertised rates also included ALL other taxes/fees. $298 NZD room rate was $298 NZD, not $400 after occupancy tax hotel surcharge and other bogus junk.
So… greedy people pillaging the public… again?!
