Doc, the link for Marriott that you linked to now shows it’s confirmed and no longer a rumor.
What is up in the air though is whether or not if you booked now for next year before the T&Cs change if you could be eligible for the credits. It seems a bit convoluted.
This deal is still valid at SHAW’s through today (12/19) (https://www.doctorofcredit.com/safeway-purchase-150-in-select-giftcards-get-25-off-your-next-shopping-order-chipotle-lowes-more-vons-randalls-albertsons-tom-thumb-acme-jewel-shaws/).
It’s slightly different as it’s $20 off your next shopping after purchasing $125. Also, there are 9 more GCs for the deal at Shaw’s, in addition to the 10 mentioned for Safeway. Additional GCs are: Macy’s, Outback, REI, Red Robin, Regal, Sephora, SpaFinder, ULTA, and Xbox.

Also, it might be worth checking your Cash App. All of my boosts are showing “Expires in 1 day”, including the $1 coffee shop boost.
Macy’s, Sephora, etc were also included at Safeway. This was one of the best gc reselling plays of the year, nobody really seemed to pick up on it though
Doc, it’s no longer a rumor but confirmed that Marriott has ended the 10 elite nights for booking a meeting. Bummer for me as a regular meeting planner for my company.
