Our Verdict

Pretty sure this is a new coupon, as they recently offered the same deal (dates are different) but I could be wrong.

One store just put up the sign today (or yesterday), even though it has never had the five back cards in stock. Strangely, the sign says this offer expires today (9/30), even though the in-app coupon still says 10/2. Also, the coupon has stopped showing up for new accounts since at least 3-4 days ago, similar to how the $10 off $100 AGC offer stopped showing up quite a few days before the actual offer expiration date.

Has anyone gotten the re-appeared coupon to work a second time?

So now the offer is in my mobile app as well as on the web (Just4U). It was already added, and it expires 9/30. It looks like the old one, but it shows up. I wonder if it works or not.
Has anybody tried it yet?

You don’t get gas rewards on variables, plus at a max of $200 and a higher fee of $6.95 it’s not worth the time when there are other options to spend your time on.

Yes, you do get gas rewards! Now there’s a question if we gonna double dip this month, or not! Fingers crossed…

Used this offer in this month, and the offer appears again, but expires on 9/30 as before.
Cost: 200+6.95-10=196.95.
Net Gain: 400MR=6.4, 4 Gas Reward = 0.4*15=6, Totally 12.4.
So 12.4/196.95=6.3%.

The 5% back offered by the card seems useless to me.

Correction: This offer looks available on the web, but not on mobile. Weird. I will wait for a few more days.

Right. And it shows as “Added”, so probably old coupon came back due to some system issue but the limit 1 may still be enforced from the previous time. I would wait till Wednesday

It happened before, the coupon came back after being used, but you could not use it again in store

Since the fee is $6.95, the $10 offsets that charge. The maximum amount that can be loaded is $200. There’s an immediate $3.05 profit. A secondary profit comes about if using a card that earns more on grocery store purchases versus regular purchases. You could load the cards elsewhere, use the cards at 5% back retailers, or just spend the cards anywhere.

Do they sell these in increments greater than $200? I only found them at one of two Randall’s in the area, and only able to load up to $200 for $6.95. Not really worth it at that level.

I’ve only seen it at max 200 + 6.95, in both Randalls and Safeway; noone reported higher denoms anywhere else, either. It’s still a net positive, plus an extra .40*13.5gal=5.40 for a fill up for me; so, I like this deal quite a bit, although, granted, it’s not as flexible as the generic 10 off.
