Reposting as it looks like the rebate is now working properly. It also looks like the end date was 11/11, not 11/18 even thought that was the original date listed.
Warning, people are having issues with the rebate printing. Read comments for more up to date details. (Seems to be an issue with the blue VGCs. Check the SKU’s shown in the picture below before buying and hopefully those will work.)

I went to a staples yesterday on the 12th.. and at checkout it wasn’t showing up as having rebate and we couldn’t find it in the flier.. ended up giving up and leaving without it after the mild embarrassment and waste of time. Now it looks like I was just a day late with the corrected expiration 🙁
I have “validation complete” on my Visa GC rebate submission for last week, so I guess I’ll get my $15. Honestly, they should throw in another $15 for all the hassle involved.
Doc — your optimism for all being well here is premature. I was at a staples yesterday afternoon (Sunday 11/12). The only $200 vgc’s they had in stock were the “blue” ones — though the shelf sku listing DOES match one of the listed SKU’s in the add. I alerted a friendly cashier (who knows me) to watch this one for a rebate — she saw that a rebate form wasn’t going to print out — so she called in the manager….. He was perplexed, made several calls — then after about 10 minutes, he “solved” the problem by printing me out a rebate on a separate printer. I asked if I could still file this on line — and he said sure, and pointed me to the usual staples easy rebates web site.
Entered my info and got the confounded “rebate status being determined…..” Later got an automatic confirmation of the rebate submission — which told me to wait 72 hours. (anything but reassuring or easy)
(I have confidence in my local staples team — but the problems with this promo remain….. WHAT A HASSLE!)
Are you sure that isn’t because your purchase was on the 12th?
Wow, you could be right, and I’m not sure of anything anymore. So original promotion was for two weeks, then it got cut to one? All I know is when I walked into the store yesterday (Sunday), picked up a sale flyer at the entrance…. then took it to the rack (to match SKU’s) and then to the register with me. Manager then took it with him as he made his multiple calls to corporate offices…. and then he’s the one who came back and managed to print out a rebate print form…. (keyed to my receipt) Nobody said anything about the promo no longer being in effect…. but you might be right.
just checked, they posted another one from 11/19 to 11/25.

Went to one of the staples store on 11/11, one cashier knows that the right SKU # needs to be entered properly to get the rebate form working/generated. I went to several stores to purchase $1600 MCGC and submitted 4 rebate forms online. No problem so far, received emails that said processing.
@ Jason — presume you’re using four different addresses for those rebate submissions. Same credit card?
As for the “right SKU #,” which one would that be? SKU # 374177 is in the ad (the SKU for the Blue $200 VGC) If I go for more this week, I may well follow you and go for the MCGC –
Yes, same CC. The one I use gives me 3% cash back so compensate most of the $6.95 fee. (200+6.95)X0.03-6.95= – 0.7415. I guess other people may have to pay around $0.75 in WM for a money order? And the MCGC issued but U.S. bank can be registered on its own website and loaded online to BB/Serve.
I didn’t know which SKU though but I am sure that cashier was aware of the issue. However, I don’t see staples continue to have this $15 rebate GC this week. So if you buy 2 x $200 this week, you wouldn’t be getting a rebate form? Or do I miss something?

ONLINE REBATE FORM NOW WORKING
I made several 2 *200 vgc and 2*200 mcgc purchases last week and was fearful the rebate couldn’t be recovered. But i went online to enter the rebate details in and the stapleseasyrebates website recognized the transaction #s, and went on to process my rebates in the normal way.
Seems like the glitch on staples side has been rectified.
does anyone know if this rebate would work if you bought VGCs at a staples in canada? currently visiting here for a bit, prolly wont make it back home until after the promo is over. so was wondering if it might be possible to do it while I was in canada?

Rebate#17-26042 seems to be only valid from 11/5-11/11, so it is for last week.
I am surprised to see doc posted this deal as 2 week deal. Staples seldom run this kind of rebate for two week period.
Ad last week said until 11/18 but online rebate says until 11/11, so go figure…
Just tried to buy blue VGC at SoCal Staples. Rebate did not show. Cashier asked manager and was not available.
I bought 2 blue Visa $200 gift cards and files a Staples Easy Rebate.
