Our Verdict

You need to complete these offers after 11/21/22 and before 1/1/23 to get the extra $100. Probably takes awhile to complete both deals but $500 is a very handy bonus.

I’m confirming hat Uber Eats qualified for the first “ride” for the Uber Driver app through Swagbucks. I was concerned they would require me to complete an Uber Driver “ride” which I wouldn’t have qualified for. I did submit all of the documentation to qualify to give a ride when I clicked through the Swagbucks offer on 12/2, but as of this comment, the Uber Driver app still says that both my Driver’s License and Vehicle Insurance are “In review”. Anyway, I’m glad all I had to do to get the $300 + $100 bundle bonus was make one food delivery. I completed both food deliveries in less than an hour.

Applied for both 12/25, Doordash background check came back fast, Completed that. STILL waiting on the Uber background check. What gives? Missed the extra $100 due to that. Looking at Checkr they seem to be the same general background check.

How extensive is the sign up to be an uber driver? I wonder if I can sign up, have my wife request a one mile ride and have my kid order something for me to get at doordash and i get $500. Probably too much hassle.

Takes a couple days for document review and background check for Uber. The biggest obstacle is getting car inspected. Unless an Uber green light location is near, you’ll need to spend about $20 and 30 minute getting car inspected at a Jiffy Lube or other approved mechanic.

Note: Uber does random face verifications so if doing for P2, they’ll need to actually be the driver.

No car inspection for door dash. Don’t even need to show car insurance last I recall.

doordash was easy. did one delivery for myself and one for wife. Wife just helped me with face verifications at the beginning.
for uber it was painful. I used getaround to rent car that ready for rides without inspection. But for some reason it still asked me to upload insurance card. Was fighting with support for an 1.5 hour without result. But I got credit back + some bonus and decided to try again on next day with the same car I rented. In this time all documents were already in system so I could do uber rides right away. I was planning to request a one mile ride with wife but for some reason I was not getting that ride. No idea why. We were in same place and we were trying for 30 minutes. I was getting rides every minute but not with my wife. She also was getting rides but not with me. In the end I just took a random ride.

FYI: The bonus can be earned by driving Uber eats which does not require an auto inspection. I haven’t done my delivery yet so I haven’t ”completed” the deal yet but I’m uncertain if I am still eligible for the combined bonus.

BrownGuyChurning I can confirm that UberEats worked. The Uber activity is showing “Pending” with the orange check mark in Swagbucks indicating that I completed the requirement to complete one delivery. I delivered one food order for Uber and then right afterwards picked up one delivery for DoorDash. Uber 30,000 points and the 10,000 bonus points will not show the points pending but will be paid by 1/6/23. The DoorDash 10,000 points are showing earned and will unlock in 32 days in Swagbucks.

NT Uber Driver app works for deliveries which is Uber Eats. I received the 30,000 points. The orange checkmark showed as soon as I signed up and before I made the food delivery. However, I ultimately had to file a claim because the points didn’t get applied. Support will require you to wait a full 32 days from the date of your first delivery and not 32 days from the date of signup for the offer.

Thanks for the DP Lefty . I’m going to wait it out and see if it posts but it’s not looking too promising. I don’t have any orange check marks by the bundle but I do have the DD portion posted on 1/4. I’ll check back in a month, as support has not been helpful thus far.

NT I never got the orange check mark for the bundle but it auto posted for me. My P2 had to file a claim for the bundle since it didn’t auto post but support auto forced the 10,000 points to the pending activity and they will be applied in a couple days. Do you have the orange check mark on the Uber Driver activity? As long as that one is orange you should be good. Ultimately. I don’t think anyone will get the Uber to auto apply which is annoying. I submitted a bunch of screenshots from the Uber Driver phone app to Swagbucks. You can only provide one screenshot initially in the claim but as soon as it’s submitted you will get an email and then you can reply to that and upload the additional evidence of completion. Greg You do not need to complete a “ride” to get the 30,000 Swagbucks points. You can use the Uber Driver app to “deliver” and still qualify for the promotion. See my detailed reply above.
