Our Verdict

Should be an easy $9 moneymaker and a nice 3-month trial of SiriusXM if that interests you. I’m not sure if they make it easy or difficult to cancel at the end of the 3 months. Regardless, if you don’t want to keep the subscription, be sure to set yourself a reminder to cancel after 30 days or at the end of the 3-month trial. You can see previous Swagbucks deals for Sirius at this link.

Use your Amex Platinum to have the $1 credited back to you with their monthly credit.

If you’re new to Swagbucks then please read our review. You can get a bonus of up to $13 by using a referral link.

” Signup and stay past your trial period to receive your reward.” How can this be a $14 moneymaker when the post-trial monthly rate is likely > $10?

If you are already a member thru the car, it won’t work :P. It’ll see you as a current user.

From what I can determine, this subscription will never work on a car player, as this subscription is streaming-only and won’t work on a car player. I have a car where the original trial subscription ended seven years ago, so Sirius XM has been inactive on it for all that time. I tried to activate this subscription on the car (I’m doing the deal for the cashback, but hey, might as well use it, too, right?) , but it doesn’t work. Called support and was told it will not work at all. But they’d be glad to sell me a $8.99 monthly subscription. No thanks.

It didn’t accept any of my cards – virtual visa, virtual Amex, real amex. So, quit it. Also, the site has 100+ third party cookies!!!!!!

I guess we should use a privacy card or a temporary virtual card to sign up for subscription like this? (for things that are known to be difficult to cancel )

Did this again through InboxDollars/RevU. Was able to use and get credit from a card from myprepaidcenter.com, which MyPoints gave me instead of prepaiddigitalsolutions.com. So now I don’t have any need to cancel since there isn’t enough money on it for them to pull in three months.

Did you use a different email or same email for SiriusXM subscription this time? Also do you mean the one(Visa Card) from Prepaidddigitionsolutions.com doesn’t work for this?

This was a pain in the ass to cancel. Had to call in, navigate through their voice prompts, be connected to an agent, and then tell the agent repeatedly to cancel service right now.

I am in California and the last Sirius account I had, it was an easy online cancellation. All times before that, I had to do a live chat, but the last time didn’t even require that. If you have a California address, maybe try adding that to your profile to trigger the easy online cancellation option.

If it works, it’s a brilliant workaround.

In the past people complained about the difficulty in cancelling Sirius subscriptions…you had to phone in, wait on hold, and talk with a rep who might not actually cancel for you. At least, that is what I remember reading online in the past.

Now, if you go to siriusxm.com/stay you see a link to click if your “would like to discuss cancelling” your subscription.

Just pay with PPK and change the PPK card number after purchase. Then let Sirius rot in hell forever as they keep trying to renew your subscription.
